Our goats are important members of the farm and we strive to be very hands-on and holistic with their raising. It’s important to us that we have and produce friendly goats that are hardy, good milkers or sires, and versatile.

As of June 11, 2026 our herd is disease tested and cleared for CAE, CL, and Johne’s. You can now be even more confident in your purchase of a healthy goat to integrate into your existing herd.

Our goals regarding breeding include selecting animals for general hardiness, parasite resistance, ease of hand milking, good natured personalities, good overall health, and moderate milk production. We don’t require our does to be elite milkers, we just want them to be able to provide for our family. Goats that don't thrive under our management practices are moved along to herds that may better suit them.
