2025 LA GVVA 83 as an 8 year old 7th freshener, 5 months into lactation. She scored V (very good) for front legs and feet. Her head, shoulder assembly, rear legs, and back all scored G (good plus). Her lowest category was her rump, scoring A (acceptable). She recieved a G in general appearance, V in dairy strength and body capacity, and A in mammary. At her age, I was very happy with the scores she received. I do believe she could have scored better in mammary if I had been more diligent about keeping her production up. She’s a dream to hand milk and has a lovely maternal personality, not just for her own kids but all kids born into the herd.

Light came to us as a seven year old 6th freshener after weaning a single kid. She was a little wild on the milk stand, but sweet as pie. She was a diamond in the rough, and has turned out to be one of my favorite does. She will have as many breeding seasons with us as her body allows, and will retire here when she’s done.
